I'm rebuilding a ZoneStar printer and I need to replace the LM8UU bearings. I'm noticing that there are the "regular" steel replacement bearings and that there are also plastic/polymer bearings available. My question is which are "better". The steel ones that I'm replacing have rusted balls and it would seem to me that over the long term, polymer would be better, but since I'm not sure, I thought that I would ask.
