Hydraulic Power TRAC stabilisers are hydraulically actuated providing reliable long term operation even in commercial applications. TRAC's hydraulic power pack and central hydraulic system can be used to power other onboard equipment such as thrusters, windlasses and deck gear.

TRAC digital stabilizers dramatically improve ride comfort in any sea-state or wave angle. Fins are available in sizes ranging from .4 to 4.1 square meters; accommodating boats from 39 - 225 ft. ABT-TRAC’s three-term control detects vessel motion and instantly adjusts fin position to counteract roll. ABT-TRAC’s exclusive fin and winglet are computer optimized to generate more anti-roll force and less drag than conventional fins

During operation, the bore of the bearings is heated up which makes the oil seep out of the pores. This is an advantage because if your application is in a dusty environment, the oil will push the dirt out.

ABT-TRAC yacht Stabilizers are installed as standard equipment by more of the world's top yacht builders than any other brand. For exceptional performance, highest quality, and unmatched support, choose ABT-TRAC.

TRAC Star TRACStar (Stabilization At Rest) significantly reduces vessel roll while anchored, on a mooring, or while drifting. TRACStar works by transiting the stabilizer fins at the right speed at just the right moment. Star's unique 3-term algorithm measures roll and controls the stabilizing fin's movement to generate a smooth counter-acting energy pulse that significantly dampens roll. TRAC stabilisers automatically transition from underway to at rest stabilisation.

ABT-TRAC Digital Active Fin Stabiliser Dramatic is the only word that comes close to describing the performance of an ABT-TRAC marine stabilizer system compared to any first generation yacht stabilizer. Other stabilization products provide some degree of “roll dampening,” but the ABT-TRAC marine stabilizer virtually eliminates roll altogether.

Spherical plainbearing

Custom spherical plain bearings are available with minimal added cost (at OEM quantities) due to the manufacturing process of sintered bearings. Ball bearings are more complex and it is more costly to make a small adjustment.

Sometimes there can be questioning to what is the best type of bearing for your application. Below is an infographic highlighting 7 benefits of Triangle's spherical plain bearings. Most of the time ball bearings become the go-to product, but make sure you are assessing all of the advantages and disadvantages. On some applications, a spherical plain bearing could be the best fit for your solution.

Self-aligningball bearing

Supporting a motor shaft with a bearing example: If a spherical plain bearing fails, it will make a squeaking noise, but the motor will keep running. If a ball bearing fails, it could easily lock up the shaft ruining the motor. In other cases, different components could be damaged.

Ball bearings are offered and designed with self-aligning elements, but these bearings are less available and are more costly. If there happens to be a misalignment during assembly, self-aligning plain bearings can compensate for the problem without the added cost. Triangle's self-aligning plain bearings keep mount assemblies aligned which reduces costly methods of fixing the error by reducing time and possible machining fixes.

Triangle's spherical plain bearings are sintered. Sintered bearings consist of pressed metal powder with pores that are impregnated with oil. This results in permanent lubrication which makes Triangle's bearings low maintenance.

Fail Safe TRAC actuators feature a unique fail-safe capability that mechanically locks the fins when required. No more lifting floorboards or trips to the bilge to “pin the fins.” When selecting astern the fins auto centre and lock and in the event of hydraulic system failure the locking pin auto engages.

CAN Bus Connectivity TRAC Link is an integrated CAN Bus control network for TRAC stabilisers, thrusters and auxiliary loads. It allows multiple installation of the TRAC Link control panel, an exclusive colour touch-screen LCD user panel for control of stabilisers, thrusters and hydraulic system.
