A final plan was to have been released in early 2023[399] but was delayed until December 2023.[400][401] The final plan includes one new route to Brooklyn, four new local routes, eight routes with new overnight service, and 27 rush routes.[402] A second final plan was announced in December 2024. In December 2011, City Councilman Leroy Comrie pushed the city to create designated bus stops for the dollar van services to alleviate traffic and interference of dollar vans with MTA buses.
