@davesaddiction I couldn't really put my finger on it, but he plays the "dumbass husband/dad" thing really well but without coming across as a total dufus (eg the way the brilliant Ray Romano had to do on his sitcom). It's such a trope, but he pulls it off like some kind of weird blend of Seinfeld and Foxworthy. It's really brilliant.
