H311 SKF Adapter Sleeve - 50mm Shaft Adapter sleeves are the most commonly used components for locating bearings with a tapered bore onto a cylindrical shaft. Using an adapter sleeve allows the bearing to be located into position on the shaft prior to the sleeve being tightened into place.
