Customers recognize the 6300 4G 4GB (Unlocked) phone for its practicality and affordability. They appreciate its dual SIM capability, long battery life, and simplicity. However, some users have experienced issues with network connectivity.
Nokia 6300 4G is a good phone, basic but many good features. WiFi & data connectivity good. Good battery life. Has Geo-location and includes google maps. One drawback, though not serious, the keys are sometimes sticky, resulting in double characters and numbers, like aaa, sss, 333. Every all good phone and I am happy with the purchase. I have give four star rating for this one drawback, otherwise excellent phone.
Yes, it's a cheap phone. But it fits in your pocket and does what you need it to (including Google Maps and YouTube) without the nonstop distraction and data suck of a smartphone.
Hearing a grinding noise when turning the steering wheel of your car can be a sign of several potential issues with your vehicle. It’s important to address the issue promptly, as some problems can worsen over time and lead to significant damage or safety hazards. Here are some common reasons for a grinding sound while turning your wheel:
When your car begins making grinding noises during turns, it’s time to connect with Arvu Auto to make a diagnosis and repair appointment with a mechanic at our shop in the West Minneapolis metro!
The phone is a good value at the price offered HOWEVER programming the unit for 1 particular feature was its downfall. Nowhere in the quick start users guide that was supplied in the box nor the 38 page comprehensive manual available on the Nokia website was there any information on setting up SPEED DIALING. This particular feature was very important in this case as it is going to be used by an assisted living facility patient. Only 2 phone numbers are used. It took several calls to customer service and their e-mail to solve the problem but they did !
This phone was perfect for our needs. Our daughter was starting middle school. We didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a smart phone. So we initially tried a smart watch. Couldn't get the Apple Watch to work with our ATT plan. We tried Angel Watch for a few months, but that was a disaster. Unusable, bulky, and stopped charging after a few months. So we tried this phone and it's been perfect for us. Unlike the watch, this is actually good for phone calls, as you'd expect. So it's much easier for us to call and text her and vice versa. While it has internet connectivity like a smartphone, the beauty of this phone is that the user interface (specifically, the lack of a physical or virtual keyboard) makes it so that she's not going to spend hours glued to her phone. In an emergency, she can use the Web, but it's not something that she'd do just for fun. We took Facebook off, but kept Whatsapp on the phone. Camera is not great, but that's not what we bought it for. Highly recommend for other parents who want to get their kids a phone, but don't want to get them an expensive smartphone that they'll lose, destroy, or get addicted to.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the Nokia 6300 4G. I was looking for a phone with some of the features of a smart phone, without the expense. I tend to be less than gentle and didn't want to invest in a phone I would need to baby. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that the keys are a bit small for my large hands and fingers. That said, it's a vast improvement over my old LG flip phone.
Thanks so much for taking the time to write us a review and providing feedback. It helps us serve our customers better. We're happy to hear it's a good fit for you!
does the job. i wanted a "dumb" phone as an emergency back-up. i like that it has a micro sd slot (though it only supports up to 32 gb if i recall correctly). the headphones make for poor call quality, but the phone has better reception than my main phone in spots (admittedly, not sure if it's a carrier issue). i like that it has a second sim card slot, as i am hoping to be able to visit family overseas (i wouldn't have to remove my current sim card, just pop in the temporary one in the second slot). decent phone if you don't need access to apps that are only available on, say, google's app store, or many other frills.
I bought this for some family members living in a 3rd World Country that really just needed a phone to make basic calls and be durable. This hits all those notes, it's a good deal and it's pretty solid feeling and the battery lasts for a very long time. It also has Whatsapp which is great as these type of phones that aren't smartphones usually don't have apps like Whatsapp. It's a little confusing to use initially, but if you've ever used a Bar of Flip Phone before you should be able to catch on quickly. Overall if you're looking for a new Unlocked phone for below $80, it's really hard to beat a deal like this.

You can activate this phone with many different carriers. We needed AT&T. None of the new flip phones for the person we had to replace old 3g were user friendly at all. This Nokia 6300 4g was suggested by an at&t tech. Still a learning curve, but you can turn off access to facebook and what'sapp which helps a lot. It may look like an older phone, but it is new. No matter what phone you get for an elder, I be patient with them & yourself.
Got this phone when my old one died and had to wait on a new phone in the mail. Put my t mobile sim card in & it worked right away, no activation or anything. Has FB, WhatsApp, & Google Maps installed. Works for both sizes of sim card. Biggest issue is you can't reply to group text messages. You'll have to use WhatsApp for any group messages. Doesn't pick up 4G or 5G so service can be spotty.
This phone will bring you back to the days when a phone took a fraction of your pocket, it is super light and barely noticeable while you carry it. This is among the very few phones in the USA that has dual-sim and is fully functional with the major cellular companies here. I have been using the dual-sim, connecting to 4G LTE on both AT&T and T-Mobile with zero issues. The inclusion of wifi and even some "smart" features really gives it some additional value in today's tech savvy world. The YouTube "app" works quite fluidly and gives you the ability to watch something if you truly wanted to, the ability to browse is there but tiresome to use, the message app "WhatsApp" works well too. My phone came fully updated out of the box at the time of writing this review, battery life is not like the "good ole days" but will last a couple days with light use. The GPS app works very well, it is not live turn by turn but works in a pinch. This is a "feature" phone, make no mistake, but it has just enough "smarts" to make it usable today.
It's not that great. It's super laggy and uses an outdated version of KaiOS. Additionally, the US version like this one is extremely locked down. If you're looking for a dumbphone, I'd look elsewhere (I switched to CAT S22.) If you're just looking for a simple phone and don't care about it being laggy, this is a pretty good choice -- it has a dual sim, so if that's important to you, this is a good choice. Otherwise, look elsewhere
This is a basic phone that is simple to use. I purchased it for my senior mother who does not know how to operate a smart phone. This phone has WhatsApp installed so my mother can call her granddaughter who is going to school in London without having to pay $3 a minute. Another good feature is this phone can block numbers unlike the Alcatel phone she had previously. So many scam calls on T-Mobile so the block numbers feature is great to have. Not a very sturdy phone, but affordable and has useful features.
Okay quality....not as good as the old days. Like the fact that it has WhatsApp .... Very useful when travelling abroad and supports dual sim...
Nokia-6300 is simple but powerful and reliable phone. Two sim cards adding more flexibility to unlockrd version. It has a very decent battery life. Overall, I think it was a good practicle solution to my needs.
