After flooding and storms dealt damage to many Vermont businesses this July, help is now available to owners, landlords, and farmers through Vermont’s Business Emergency Gap Assistance Program.
“We will require folks to tell us what it will take for them to recover, repair, replace things that were damaged, and then to subtract out any insurance coverage if there’s any, or any other grant program,” said Commissioner Goldstein.
If you own a business in Vermont and can prove you sustained any physical damage to real estate, inventory, or equipment due to the flooding, you can apply. Businesses can get up to 30% of their damage costs reimbursed.
