New graduate Brianna Jones was deeply involved in the Student Social Work Association and won a 2024 Students Leadership Award for Outstanding Service to the Community. She is stepping into a full-time position with United Cerebral Palsy Heartland.

The university received an $8 million grant from the James S. McDonnell Foundation to support the launch of the UMSL School of Engineering. The new school will work to address the workforce demand for more trained engineers.
