What County isHanover PAin

Richard M'Calister laid out the town of Hanover in 1763 and officially incorporated on March 4, 1815 as The Borough of Hanover, named for the German City of Hannover to honor the British from the House of Hannover.  The citizens celebrated the 150th Anniversary of The Battle of Hanover in 2013.  A town committed to its people, Hanover remains a safe and happy community celebrating the future as well as the past.   Downtown revitalization is a current priority, working with community members and organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce to reconnect with the appeal of the downtown and ignite that hometown character once again.  Hanover Borough was designated an official Keystone Main Street on May 30th, 2014.

Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings continued their winning ways by beating the Green Bay Packers 27-25 in their regular season home finale at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Packers scored first on a 49-yard field goal by McManus, but the Vikings took over from there. The Vikings outscored the Packers 27-7 in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, but the Packers made it interesting with two 4th quarter touchdowns to cut the lead to 2. The Vikings closed out the game with a 7 play, 24-yard drive to run out the clock. Sam Darnold finished 33-of-43 passing for 377 yards, 3 touchdowns, and a pick. Justin Jefferson notched 100 receptions on the season with an 8 reception game for 92 yards. Jalen Nailor also had a great night with 5 receptions for 81 yards and the opening touchdown of the game. Cam Akers and Jordan Addison caught the other touchdown passes from Darnold on Sunday. Aaron Jones led the Vikings on the ground with 12 carries for 47 yards. Kicker Will Reichard went 2 of 4 on field goals and 3 of 3 on PAT's. Defensively, the Vikings got 3 combined sacks from Andrew Van Ginkel, Blake Cashman, and Dallas Turner. Cam Bynum had an early fumble recovery from Josh Jacobs on the opening drive and the Vikings defense made multiple key fourth down stops throughout the game. Paul Allen and Pete Bercich breakdown the week 17 win, including: the Packers made the game interesting late, Sam Darnold was cold blooded once again, the defense brought the pressure, and the implications of playing for a #1 seed in Detroit next week. Plus, Kevin O'Connell and Sam Darnold spoke in the postgame press conferences about the victory. All of this and more is in tonight's edition of the Vikings Postgame Report.

Hanover Borough staff works diligently to provide the structure that allows for business, personal, and community growth. The Borough of Hanover is governed by the Mayor and a ten-member Council elected to four-year terms. The Mayor supervises the Police Department but represents all while possessing few statutory powers. The Borough Code mandates the Mayor to preserve order, enforce ordinances and resolutions, remove public nuisances, exact a faithful performance of the duties assigned to appointed officers, and to perform his/her own assigned duties.
