A few days ago I asked about a cylinder I had put a new gland rod seal in that was leaking. I ended up carrying it to the cylinder repair shop I normally use  as I had some larger cylinders I also needed repaired. They said the rod seal that had come with that kit was the wrong one and was too large. He said he didn't know how I had ever got that U cup in that gland bore. This was the bucket cylinder for a Case 480C front loader bucket. It was a BullDog brand kit form BrokenTractor. It did have multiple seals that was supposed to work on different styles of cylinders on that machine but it didn't have the seal I needed. I guess what I am saying is you need to be able to measure to be sure you have the right seal. I didn't have a good way to measure the inside where that seal went. I felt good sliding over the shaft. https://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=1087674&po...
