So I wanted to know your thoughts and opinions on the new specialized status 2 170 I’m looking for an enduro bike and my local bike shop has a 2025 status 2 170 in matte black for $3,700 cad, the same shop also has a 2023 specialized enduro comp on sale for $5,000, I’m not sure which one I should get because I’m just not quite sure what type of bike the status is supposed to be because they market it as an all rounder but is has 170 mm of travel and trail suspension layout which is just kind of weird to me because most enduro bikes have the suspension layout similar to the enduro comp (lower in the frame) because it’s means a lower centre of gravity which is usually better for enduro/downhill riding.
