@Flaming_Kaiser It's a big franchise but it still not as big like say Fifa, COD, or GTA where they can sell like 5-10 million copies on day 1.
But maybe that will happen for SF 7. Right now SF 6 popularity already reach mainstream audiences like Vtubers. If 5 years ago you tell me that Vtubers will play fighting games and they also coached by pro players to participate in a tournament (you can google Crazy Raccoon Cup or Sajam Slam), i'm probably gonna laugh at you ?

Well deserved. I'm still playing on the regular and I've had some great success online with AKI. I plan to go to EVO for the first time next year so looking forward to that. I'll probably drown in pools but hey, should still be fun!

One problem with this launch / dlc model is if you have a favourite, you wont buy until after they have been added - i did this and still know of people waiting on characters like Sagat b4 they buy. Not an easy fix, but it causes a lot of people to buy at a later reduced price.

Love this game.Always liked fighters but sF6 is the first time I'm trying to put some real hours in.I'm no way near a pro and, tbh, still often get washed lol, but I reached Master Rank with Marisa and I'm pretty happy about it ^_^. Can't wait to try Terry Bogard though!
@dark_knightmare2 And this is more like 1 year and a quarter too. I've got to say, it feels like way longer than that to me - I'd have guessed it was about 2.5 years ago.
For tournament, I entered a couple of local offline and online tourney including Capcom Pro Tour. Sadly my skill are not good enough to put me in top 8 or even win the tourney. Pro players are build different especially the ones who won EVO. I faced one of EVO champion and i got washed 2-0 ?
@Korgon You need to let us know how that went when you get there. SF6 is a great game, even for non-fighters like me. haha.
@PuppetMaster Thanks! As I said, I do, I'm really enjoying it and I'm probably here for the long run.I admit, I still rage sometimes (mostly when I encounter "one and done" people or the very rare rude ones in the hub chat) but, overall, a great experience and met some great players! There are, honestly, few things I loved more than going FT10 or plus with someone, then exchanging GGs and telling each others this was great or words of encouragement and stuff.Even hope those newly acquired skills will transfer to GBVR since Versusia is another tall lady that's calling for my attention ^_^

@SoulChimera If you mean tournament in Battle Hub, i believe right now they're holding Ed only tournament because a couple days ago was his birthday. There always tournament in Battle Hub every time some characters had a birthday, a new character release, or some collabs event.
@MichaelNau It's normal to get angry at those one-and-doners or rage quitters lol. I'm also the same. I experienced a lot of one-and-doners not just in SF but other fg's as well. But nowadays i got annoyed for a second, put those rq's or one-and-doners to my black list, and keep playing lol.
@KyushuTrail @MichaelNau It's always nice to see more people playing fighting games / SF. I hope you guys enjoy your stay ?
I just needed those couple of tournament trophies for the Platinum, but when they eventually activated them, you had to wait like a day to take part in one.
Bearings in the 1600 category were introduced to be interchangeable with other standard inch series bearings. Being designed with close tolerance and improved ball complement provide increased load capacity for this category of bearing. This bearing comes pre-lubricated with crease and is available with rubber seals (-2RS).
@SoulChimera They already fixed it. I entered one or two tournaments and it's working just fine. You should try it again.
Lastly that's MK11's lifetime sales, SF6 has only been out a year. Don't know if it's gonna reach those numbers, but can see it doing at least 8-10 million by the end of it's run.

It took SFV the end of its initially planned last season to reach this same amount 4 years after launch. Hope Capcom invests in more FGs with this new money.
SF6 got a great launch and reception, but it was also following up SF5, which had a troubled launch to say the least (even though it did turn things around).
The way this reviewed I figured it be way more not that four million isn’t good in a year but MK does that in like four months

@SoulChimera The tournament trophy is terrible. I ended up searching for a booster group online and managed to find one (it's dead now unfortunatly). But with some boosting, and some luck against randoms I managed to secure 10 wins over a couple tournaments. The tournaments are still only every 8 hours and not every day which is a terrible system. A good tip is to have different fighters with different rankings, that way you can join more rooms when SF host ranking based tournaments.

I'm super happy that SF6 is continue to sell pretty well in such a long term. Many people wait forever to actually pick up fighters but obviously SF6 is pulling people in consistently enough to warrent such a steady stream of people hopping on. Hopefully it continues to sell like this well into the future!
@PuppetMaster You seem pretty cool. Pretty cool people are always nice to know. Would you be ok to exchange SF names or PS5 names and see if we can room match train and chat together some time?I'm always looking for people to improve with.
@Flaming_Kaiser It's okay. I don't see any disrespect towards SF from your post and i get it if you think a popular franchise like SF could have higher sales which i also wish the same.
@PuppetMaster Yeah in the battle hub, the sign up counter on the left as you enter. At launch they deactivated them because it was broken, then about a month or two later they reactivated, but when you signed up, it was some crazy timing like 9pm the next day. I signed up for one, waited until the next day, got into the match and almost instantly it disconnected.
Capcom's excellent, latest entry in its long-running Street Fighter series is proof there's life in the venerable IP yet. The company announced that lifetime sales for the title (released in June last year) have now exceeded four million across all platforms.

Very nice! This was my first ever fighting game and I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I’m not playing it anymore, but I’m very happy with the 51 hours (according to my ps5) that I spent with it. I’m thinking of trying out Tekken sometime, too
But unfortunately my PS+ subs just ended today and i probably gonna renew it next month. So for this month, SF6 or any fighting games isn't on my playing list. I'm very sorry ?
Although, you will get more fun time if you try something new like practicing a new combo or try characters that you never play. I rarely play grappler in SF but for SF 6 i tried Zangief, played him until i got Master rank, and realized grappler is so much fun to play lol.

Delighted, it's an almost perfect fighting game and is much deserved. I've been playing fighting games since Street Fighter 2 in the arcades (sheesh), buy almost all of them that are worth a look, but Street Fighter 6 is shaping up to be my favourite ever made - 450 hours and counting. I'm so engrossed in it I even find myself watching high level replays and that (watching footage of a game I already own and play lots of) is something I never do.
The Street Fighter account on X shared the happy news, which shows that a healthy number of new players are still picking up the game, with SF6 passing the three million mark back in January. Indeed, Capcom has been providing a steady stream of content and updates to the game since launch, and players can look forward to the inclusion of King of Fighters' own Terry Bogard, who joins the fight on 24th September.
GBVR has some similar gameplay with SF that focus on ground games. I've played the free version a bit and reached A rank with Djeeta, Gran, or Soriz (i forgot which one). So, i think you can used your experiences that you acquired from SF 6 when you played GBVR.
@SoulChimera They fixed those tournaments a year ago. In fact, just looking at my trophies, I got the Platinum this very day a year ago.
@PuppetMaster I was never good at FGs, but I love casual tekken and SF. This game been very fun. My character for this game been guile, in V it was Charlie, in IV it was Boxer and in 2 it was constant switch-ups between Guile, Ryu and Boxer.
@Toot1st Context is important though. MK has always had much bigger mass market appeal, but also MK11 was the follow up to MKX, which is considered one of, if not the best, MK games, period. That's from both casual and competitive audiences, so hype was a lot higher to jump on. By comparison, MK11 was not as well received, so not as many people jumped on MK1 and that shows.
@PuppetMaster I still remember playing terrified in a corner with a pro go mental because I had no idea what I was doing and being cheap.
