RKB spherical roller thrust bearings can take over heavy axial loads in one direction and simultaneously radial loads. Due to design of their raceways, they are self-aligning, which makes them insensitive to the shaft deflection or misalignment between shaft and housing. They are mainly manufactured in three configurations, depending on bearing size: EM type, with one-piece machined brass cage guided on the shaft washer; EMEVO type, with one-piece EVO machined brass cage guided on the shaft, where the axial forces are transmitted via the cage-guiding sleeve; and EJ type, with a high-strength pressed steel cage guided on the shaft washer.

The Department of Philosophy and Religion at Truman has a long-running tradition of gathering students from across the nation to share the results of their research in philosophy and religious studies at the Undergraduate Philosophy and Religion Conference held on the Truman campus each year.

All undergraduate and graduate students who have a variety of philosophical and religious interests, from the novice to the maturing critical scholar, are invited to submit papers. By taking the challenge of submitting their original work to the conference, students have the potential of sharing their thoughts with other interested intellectuals from different areas of the country and different areas of expertise.

The conference is extraordinary in that it places the undergraduate as a central focus and demands scholarly activity at the undergraduate level worthy of presentation and praise.
