Wheel bearingcross referenceby part number

Hi, get the OEM part number for the bearing you need, then google "Timken Bearing Interchange" , it is a 395 page download that crosses mfr,s part #s to timken #s,  I keep a download of it on an old laptop out in the shop. They also have a seal interchange available online too, I think Chicago Rawhide/Skf has that one online.

Applied Industrial Solution 989-752-0101, (used to be Detroit Ball Bearing) has the cross reference books to go from IH part numbers to aftermarket, give them a call.

As others mentioned, SKF and Timken both had cross reference catalogs and .pdf files that have now been converted to online databases.  Timken's is better than SKF's, in my opinion.  IH had a bearing interchange catalog (XX-BL, XX being the version of the catalog, I think mine is 17) that crossed their own part number to those of other manufacturers (Timken, SKF, etc.).  The catalogs show up on E Bay every once in a while, which is where I got mine.  If you can pm me a list of the IH bearing part numbers you need crossed, I can try and give you SKF or Timken alternates from my catalog.  Note that I need the original IH part number, not the new CNH replacement number to find it in my catalog.

I'm putting all new bearings in my cyclo 900 planter. The dealer prices are fairly steep and was wondering if there was a good way to take the oem part number and cross reference with other sources (ex. NAPA). Unfortunately i don't see any numbers on the bearings themselves. Any help would be greatly appreciated , thanks!

A lot of times you can just type in the part number in Google and it will pull up the CNH part and the cross referenced numbers. Beware of cheap Chinese counterfeit bearings!

i figured that since since the above bearings are used to fit on a hex shaft that they might not be in the interchange guide so I looked up the disc opener bearing and it was not in there either.(caseih part #1268017c91). Any help on what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated, and thank you again!

The hex bearings are usually oem, I repalced some in a white planter last year, found them on ebay...I googled the 1268017c91 & it came up to a 204PY3 or a 204FREN, I know that is correct, that is what I have in the shop for my disk openers.
