Whenever you want to remove a bearing that is located inside an object, such as the bearing on the flywheel, and then you might want to look for the attachment with the correct size, and this is a very easy task. The attachments from this kit has a very special feature, that is the wings expand when you try to tighten up the screw in the middle. This special design is very useful when you want to grab an object from the inside because you can slide in the attachment end small and then the expandable wings will grab a hold of the bearing tightly. Once the attachment is securely attached to the inner part of the bearing, connect the other end of the attachment to a slide hammer or a puller, depending on the working area you have. If there are other parts that the puller can hold its feet, then use a puller would be easy. If you simply want to remove the bearing without anything in the surroundings or the bearing is apparently jammed with other substances, for example, oil sludge or carbon deposits, then using a slide hammer with its strong force will help.

Panfish such as bluegill, pumpkinseed, yellow perch and crappie can be targeted throughout all of the lakes shallow and sheltered areas.  Duchess Creek and shorelines on both the western and eastern sides of Shawano Lake are excellent for targeting panfish.  During the winter, there is also the opportunity for ice fishing.

The northern pike is another popular target among the fishermen who visit Shawano Lake.  Throughout most of the year, northern pike can be targeted along the shorelines and other sheltered regions during mornings and evenings.  This is largely due to the fact that northern pike are predators and feed on smaller species during these feeding windows.  Duchess Creek and the weed beds near Airport Drive are great places to begin targeting northern pike. Also target North Bay for larger pike.  Try trolling the deeper sections of the lake for pike and musky.

Walleye can be caught in a variety of sizes across the lake, but fishermen who decide to target them should test their lake in the deep regions beyond dropoffs and as far as the lake’s center.  As with most lakes where walleye are present, the shorelines can be targeted with success during the spring spawn. Try fishing around Schumacher's Island in the late spring and early summer for quality fish.  The north end of the lake contains sand flats with weedy humps that hold fish.

The musky is not native to Shawano Lake, but due to stocking efforts, it has become a popular trophy target over the past ten years.  Musky can be found in all deep areas of Shawano Lake.  Search for musky near the outflows on the western end of Shawano Lake.

Shawano Lake offers a community with diverse populations of both game and forage fish.  Among this community, the most abundant species include musky, northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill, yellow perch, and pumpkinseed.

When all the parts are attached together, hold a slide part of the slide hammer and moving it back and forth several times, you might already see the bearing is slowly coming out of where it is housed. The bearing will be removed faster than you expect, and once the bearing is completely removed, unscrew the expandable attachment and the bearing will fall from the attachment quickly. If you are using a puller, then use two spanners. One is to hold the big fixing nut on the puller, the other spanner is to turn the central screw. When fastening the central screw, the legs of the puller work like a good and sturdy stand point of the tool, and the bearing will be slowly removed.
