The x-axis lead screw is: 52" The y-axis lead screw is 32" the z-axis lead screw is 14" If the lead screw come from us (5 start 10 tpi), the lead screw will require an antibacklas nut for each axis.
A glowing check engine light, stalling, poor acceleration and bad fuel mileage are all possible signs your camshaft position sensor may be failing.

Gone are the days of carburetors and distributors, replaced by a variety of sensors that help a car’s computer get the maximum performance out of the engine. A camshaft position sensor (or any sensor) can fail due to wear-and-tear or an accident. Here’s what you need to know.
On modern auto-start/auto-stop engines, the camshaft position sensor determines which cylinder is in its power stroke relative to the crankshaft position, delivering fuel and spark to start the engine when you step on the accelerator.

Hi I built a 2x4 cnc machine in 2013 using you Hardware kit and plans. I want to speed up my cnc machine by purchasing your acme leadscrew 1/2"-10 5 starts. I have an X axis at 52", a Y axis at 32" and a Z axis at 14". How do I order all 3 length pre cut to size on your website? Also can you give me a rough estimate on the shipping to Ottawa, Ontario Canada please.
Yes, the board and kit is available and for sale. If you need the board without the chip installed (so you can solder the chip on the board yourself), we can offer that. Give us a call and we will let you know the price of that option.
I'm interested in one of your BlackToe kits. Will it cut plywood R/C airplane wing ribs accurately, including the small notches for spars and sheeting? I've heard gantry mass is too high, and causes the small notches to not be cut accurately.
Hi I have ordered the ARM Microcontroller Beginners Kit (STM32F0) on the 23rd of April but the shipping has still yet to arrive. I did not create an account at the time of purchasing and I am not in the address I provided anymore. May I know how should I go about this problem
Hi, I got two different bits I use alot. The 1/16th and 1/32 end mills. I use them alot for making signs. They seem to be getting dull. They are very expensive so I was wondering can you sharpen these bits? Do you have a service to do this? Thank you

As long as the bearing has a minimum thickness of 1/4" and 9/32" is a bit thicker, there will be no problem with the book build using the bearing that is 1/32" thicker. There is actually more surface area which is better.
Absolutely. The mach3 USB will work in all versions of Windows and will also work in 32-bit or 64-bit mode. If you have heard that Mach3 in general will not work in some versions of windows, it is because past controllers used parallel ports, and MAch3 needed to use a specific driver that only works under 32-bit mode. The MAch3 USB controller uses a traditional USB port, so you will have no problem with any version of Windows.

Sure, here is our recommended handwheels for the CNC Control Boards we sell. For the parallel breakout boards, skip to the handwheels that don't connect to the control board. Corded Handwheels that can be wired to control boards (Direct Amazon Links): http://amzn.to/2v4WhIe http://amzn.to/2vq0Aiv Handwheels that do not connect directly to the control board (connect to the computer's USB): (Wireless) http://amzn.to/2v6RB32 (Wired) http://amzn.to/2ucfAAz
You can find the required components for our scratch build CNC here(https://buildyourcnc.com/cnckitintro.aspx). Lead Screw needed will be: X-axis: 52 Inches Y-axis: 32 Inches Z-axis: 14 Inches These will be the bearings that are specified that will be needed: Bearings 1/2" Inside Diameter - 6 Bearings 5/16" Inside Diameter - 24
Our blackToe will work with R/C models, and can cut plywood, acrylic, foam, light sheets of aluminum. The gantry mass is not too dependent where you will see a significant accuracy loss that will not work with cutting small notches or small detailed parts, but depending on your CAD/CAM software and how accurate you specify the design it would be best if you create it in sections where you can change the endmill to a finer detailed bit when needed. Also dealing with our CNC machines the accuracy is in the thousandths of an inch (0.001). Dealing with small notches, you will most likely be better off using a small endmill/cutter, for very fine detailing (ex. a 1/8" endmill or a 1/32" endmill).
Data received by the ECM from a failing camshaft position sensor can keep transmission shift solenoids from operating and gears from shifting. Called “limp-home-mode” on some models, it helps protect the engine from damage by restricting engine speed.

This is only a frustrating inconvenience if it happens while your car is parked, but it can be a dangerous situation if your car shuts off while you’re driving.
Hi, I need the lead screws and bearings for the 4' x-axis, the 2'(?) y-axis and the 1'(?) z-axis as specified in the book 'Build your own cnc'. I am not sure which to order on your website. Thanks

I don't see why Mach3 under windows 64-bit wouldn't work with an interface that uses USB as it's primary communication method. I am a bit vague on this, so I will do more research on it. We recommend Mach3 run under Windows 32-bit when using the parallel interface as this is a legacy function. How long can you drive with abad camshaft
If you ignore the symptoms listed here and your camshaft position sensor fails, your vehicle will not start. As a camshaft position sensor weakens, so does the data it transmits to the ECM. Eventually the data signal becomes so weak the ECM switches off fuel and spark delivery, and your engine will not start.
Hello. I'm trying to start a cortex M4 based project and found your STM32 M0 MCU and Interface to Breadboard on newbiehack. I saw your name was listed as the author and it led me to here. Is this board still available and is it available without the M0 chip already on it? I need to use a M4 chip for the extra memory. Thank you.
Unfortunately, end mills will dull over time and need to be sharpened or repurchased. We do not currently offer any sharpening service, but we have a large selection of end mills you can find here http://www.buildyourcnc.com/ProductsEndMills.aspx

OBD II (on-board diagnostics II) systems efficiently monitor vehicle hardware and software and can detect part deterioration that causes imperceptible performance changes before a part completely fails. Although you can connect to the ECM using a DIY scan tool to try and diagnose the problem, it’s best to take it to the pros when the Check Engine light illuminates. Ignoring the Check Engine light can lead to expensive engine or transmission repairs.
Inaccurate camshaft position sensor data can keep fuel injectors open too long, forcing excess fuel into the combustion chamber. This also can cause engine knocking and serious damage if too much liquid gasoline (which does not compress) builds up in the combustion chamber.

If you are unable to install the parallel port driver during the Mach3 installation process, it is most likely that you are running a 64-Bit version of Windows. Install a 32-Bit version, and retry the Mach3 installation. Additional Information: Additional Information: Additional Information: Additional Information: parallal port drivers are installed but at the end of driver name "Mach3Drivers?" there is an quistion mark sign board testing need external reset request, what i do please solve the pob. Yes, Mach3 (the software profram) will work with Windows 7, and windows 10 when coupled with the Mach3 USB interface. If you intend to use the parallel port driver, stick with Windows 7 in 32-bit mode. Additional Information: Rnrmotion.dll is a dynamic link library which is very similar in function to an executable program, or app. Since a dll is executable, malicious code can be embedded in that type of file, so windows will automatically flag all files of this type. You just need to make sure you are downloading from a trusted source. The emotion.dll file on our site is clean, but still run run windows defender against it to make sure.
When your vehicle doesn’t run like it used to, or the Check Engine light is on, the camshaft position sensor may need to be replaced. Eventually your engine will stop running if you disregard these symptoms.
The specifications for our 3/8" bearings are R6ZZ. The ZZ means double metal shielded. The metal shielding is to protect the ball bearings between the inner race and outer race. Inside diameter: 3/8" Outside Diameter: 7/8" Width: 9/32"
A failing camshaft position sensor begins losing its ability to quickly transfer data. Mismatched fuel delivery and ignition timing, even if off by a few milliseconds, will cause your vehicle to sputter, accelerate poorly, lack power, stall or even shut off.
I am following the build your own CNC book build for my first machine. Is the hardware on this page https://buildyourcnc.com/item/cnc-machine-scratchbuild the complete hardware kit (minus the items it already noted were not included) required for the build?
Absolutely, the controllers I sell: the Mach3 USB controller and the Pokeys57CNC controller will work in all modern versions of Windows, including Windows 11 at 32 or 64-bit. Additional Information: Now I am trying to decide which board I should use. I have a wireless MPG and every time I jog Z my X axis steps. If this is not a board issue I would like to go with a wired MPG. So I would like a board that I can have a wired MPG, use a tool touch off probe, control either spindle (VFD) on/off or on/off with speed control, and have homing switches. Additional Information: Both of the boards, Mach3 USB and Pokeys57CNC have onboard connectors for wired CNC MPG Pendants. However, the pokeys57CNC is a much more feature rich controller. Signs of bad camshaftsensor
A camshaft position sensor is an electronic device that does what it suggests — monitor the camshaft position and speed — and feeds that data to the vehicle’s engine control module (ECM). The ECM needs this data to control how much fuel enters the combustion chamber and ignition (spark) timing to ignite the fuel. When the air/fuel mixture is ignited at precisely the right time, engine power and fuel economy increase, and tailpipe emissions decrease.
I am building the CNC in your book - Build you own CNC Machine. One of the bearing thicknesses is 1/4" I can't find that bearing online. I can find 9/32, will that be a problem. Do you have a source? Thx
