B6 515flight status

c/n 104-25866. Actual US military serial 43-24937. Crashed UK 10th June 1944. Rebuild based on salvaged parts completed with first flight 7th November 2014. Now operated by Comanche Fighters and flown across the Atlantic from the United States for UK airshows in 2017. Seen taxiing in after her solo routine was sadly cut short during the first pass when her distinctive 'Malcolm' canopy hood disintegrated, hitting the tail on the way past. As can be seen she landed safely with just minor fin and tailplane damage, as well as the lost canopy. As far as I am aware she did not fly again in the UK and has since departed back to the US. 2017 Flying Legends Airshow, Duxford Airfield, Cambridgeshire, UK.
