Panel Hex Nuts (panel nuts or volume control nuts) are substantially thinner than a jam nut and used in tight areas or when a low profile is needed. They are commonly used in switch mounts, volume controls and electrical fixtures. Most of them have pipe threads and not standard threads. (They are not always chamfered or countersunk). They are available in steel, brass, and stainless.

Angular ball bearings are non-separable bearings, and the straight line connecting the contact points between the ball and the inner and outer rings has a certain angle (contact angle) with respect to the radial direction. (Refer to Figure 1)The contact angle and contact angle symbol are shown in Table 1.A radial load and a unidirectional axial load can be applied. Also, when a radial load acts, an axial component force is generated, so two are generally used facing each other. For bearings with a contact angle of 15° and bearing accuracy of JIS 5 class or higher, refer to Precision Rolling Bearing (CAT. No. 2260/J).
