SKF SMALL V-RINGS (#MVR2-65) - mvr2
Dichta
The GFS Series 400 PTFE Rotary Lip Seal features three sealing lips facing in opposite directions. Two ID lips that seal dynamically on a shaft to keep media sealed in one direction, and an opposite lip designed to prevent contamination. An elastomeric O-ring on the OD seals statically in the bore. Since the lip is not spring-energized, the radial lip contact forces are lower than a rotary spring energized U-cup, which allows the seal to function at much higher surface speeds (up to 5,000 SFPM). Standard O-ring offering is FKM, however different o-ring materials can be supplied upon request. The sizes and materials offered below represent standard catalog part numbers. This profile can be custom machined to custom dimensions in a wide range of PTFE materials. Please complete the form below the size filter table to request. These seals are suited to applications requiring lower friction, better chemical compatibility, and higher pressure ratings than elastomeric rotary seals.
