The Center for Cognitive Neuroscience Berlin (CCNB) at the Freie Universität Berlin in Dahlem is an interdisciplinary research center devoted to the study of the human mind. The center is situated in the Department of Education and Psychology and hosts a number of research groups and neuroscience laboratories enabling the investigation of diverse aspects of cognitive neuroscience.

Research at the CCNB spans all aspects of cognitive neuroscience, including the neural basis of sensory perception, working memory, decision making, action planning, emotion, language, and social interaction, among other topics. Teaching is central to the CCNB and many members of the CCNB are involved with the Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (SCAN) and Data Science master programs and the Psychology bachelor program at the Freie Universität Berlin. The laboratory suite of the CCNB offers cutting edge neuroimaging facilities on more than 800 square meters. It hosts a 3T Siemens Trio MR scanner, five EEG laboratories (including MR compatible EEG systems), a TMS and TDC stimulation laboratory (including a MR compatible TMS setup), a NIRS laboratory, two eye-tracking laboratories, and various psychophysical laboratories.
