The hydraulic pumps are equipped with larger reservoirs, convenient oil level sight glass, rust-resistant chromed pistons, and ergonomic grab handles to enhance stability during operation. The internal springs retract rams seamlessly, while the extension tubes that are designed to resist bending, facilitate quick accessory connections.

Cage needle bearings consist of cylindrical needle rollers assembled into a cage or retainer.  The cage/retainer may be molded plastic.  Common materials include polyamide (nylon), acetal (delrin) or other engineered plastics.  Alternately, the cage/retainer may be made from low carbon steel via metal stamping and forming processes.  Sometimes the cage/retainer is machined.  Other materials include brass or stainless steel.  Needle rollers are most commonly manufactured from bearing grade chrome steel (52100 / GCr15).  This material is widely specified due to its high strength, hardness and wear resistance.

Snap-on also has released its HPR400-19 and HPR1000-19 10-Ton and 4-Ton Cart Accessory Kits. Both capacity cart options offer mobile storage for quick and convenient access to tools and adaptors. The carts’ two rubber wheels ensure safe transportation across shop floors while the bodies are powder coated black for rust protection, Snap-on says, and have an added benefit of an included cover for each cart keeps dust and dirt away from components while not in use.

Hartford Technologies is a multinational supplier of  cage needle bearings for automotive applications such as steering columns and seat adjusters.  They are used in many industrial bearing applications in which the components that function as inner and outer races are larger items (e.g. a shaft or housing) or are integrated at different points in the assembly process.
