A 'trustworthy source' can be a news website, law enforcement website, missing person charity or organisation (eg: missingkids.com) and in rare occasions, social networking websites (eg, a police department's Facebook page).

Anyone attempting to ask for money will be banned permanently. There are too many scams associated with this. Asking for Financial advise is allowed. If you are asking for donations to an organization or charity you must message the mods with proof of legitimacy before posting.
