This might be a bit of a wack take, but in the future, consoles should include a basic keyboard and mouse setup. The current gen of consoles is pretty much on par with some of the best gaming PCs, and if these consoles allowed access to Steam or other PC storefronts, they could become seen as a viable alternative for a pre-built PC. Though console players can hook up their own keyboard and mouse in some situations, it's rarely used for actual gameplay or as an alternative input method. But if future consoles shipped with a keyboard and mouse as a kind of hybrid console-PC, with full support for KB+M controls, it could open up a whole new frontier for a huge number of gamers who have never had access to MMOs, RTSes, and other games that just work better when using a KB+M.

I'll sing its praises until the cows come home, but Mad Max is a criminally underrated title. I'd put it right up there with Days Gone as far as story and gameplay are concerned - I find that they're stylistically very similar, so if you like Days Gone, you'll love Mad Max too. Despite it being almost a decade old, I think it still holds up now, and I always try to give it another playthough when I have time.

Though it hasn't been a PlayStation-exclusive franchise since the first couple of PlayStation console generations, the first three Crash Bandicoot games were hugely influential on me as a wee gamer. They're ridiculously fun even by today's standards, and though they weren't the first games I ever played, without Crash Bandicoot 1-3 I don't think I'd have the same appreciation for wacky, well-designed platformers that I do now.

Karlach I made a 4lv Bear Barbarian, 8lv open hand Monk. She could do a ton of damage and while raging, was resistant to everything except psychic. She'd use that lighting spear you find when you make that djinn angry, and supplement that with bonus action unarmed strikes, plus barbarian unarmored means I have a better ac the higher her constitution.

Open hand monk 8/Rogue Thief 4 with Asterion as the ascended vampire is wrong. 60hp per punch with the soul gloves with up to 8 attacks with haste. Took Raphael down in two rounds with him not even throwing a punch due to the stun lock.

There's so much to consider here. It's not just about who will be there, but how everyone would interact together. I think I'll bring together some old favorites of mine like Spyro and Ratchet, and maybe cap it off with Aloy. It would be a relatively calm event, so maybe I'd host a second, more chaotic one with some more unhinged characters, like Kratos from the original God of War series.

1 Wizard/11 Tempest Cleric Build. You Could Go War Cleric for the Extra attack, but Destructive Wave is amazing on targets that are considered Wet, which if you pair it with a swords bard dealing Ice conditions and automatically wetting the boss, it's chef's kiss. Why 11 Cleric? I personally like having the higher level spell slots for those Spells. (Water Elemental with Heals).

Whenever I think about the first PlayStation I always associate it with the first Spyro the Dragon game. It's really a shame that we haven't seen Spyro in his own mainline game for ages now (not counting the Skylanders games), because the movement and platforming in Spyro levels is absurdly fun, and it's amazing how well it translates to modern audiences with a bit of a graphical polish-up like in the Spyro Re-ignited Trilogy remaster.

I'd personally choose: - Bloodborne - Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 - Shadow of the Colossus I would probably get tired of Shadow of the Colossus after a few times through, but Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and Bloodborne are timeless classics that I wouldn't mind replaying over and over.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Hogwarts Legacy would've won GOTY, but there is so much to experience in the game that it seems absurd to me that it didn't get a single nomination for any category in the 2023 awards. It was honestly the exact sort of Wizarding World experience many of us had been waiting for, and it had no shortage of Harry Potter-esque experiences we'd all been hoping to try out first-hand. The environments were stunning, I really enjoyed the story, and there were even plenty of accessibility options. Not to mention the music, which was also terrific. I wouldn't say it's a perfect game, but I think they were hard-done by not getting a single nomination in 2023.

For my character, I have so far decided to keep her a Zariel Tiefling Paladin specing as an Oath of Vengence, which gives me the freedom to kill a wider array of things without breaking my oath. I may possibly build my character into a sorcadin, but haven't fully committed to the idea.

I have blundered my way through BG3 mostly because I didn't fully understand what kind of game it was. I had heard from friends it was super fun so I thought I'd give it a shot! I'm on my second playthrough and have been fine tuning it a bit, but I'm nit finished (just hit Act II).

Without question, the best RPG I've played on PlayStation is Skyrim. It's up there as one of my all-time favorite games and one I consistently come back to, whether it's been one month, one year, or three years.  If we're talking PlayStation exclusives, though, I'd say Horizon: Zero Dawn would be my top pick. It was so unique and beautifully crafted, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will thoroughly enjoy the remaster when it drops!

There are a lot of rumors of a Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake in the works, apparently to be revealed early next year, but for my money, I think a ground-up remake of Morrowind would be a lot more interesting in the current gaming landscape. Oblivion and Skyrim feel very similar in a lot of ways, while Morrowind is set in a deeply alien world, with few roots in European fantasy and more in the occult and ancient religions, making for an utterly weird world to be in. If I had to choose between seeing Cyrodiil in Unreal Engine 5 or seeing Vvardenfell with modern graphics, I would choose Morrowind's landmass any day. I love Oblivion don't get me wrong, but Morrowind is so much stranger and so much more bizarre than the rolling green hills of Englan- I mean Cyrodiil.

The PlayStation 2 was the first console I had as a young teenager, and the first game I really fell in love with on it was Jak 2. It can be debated whether the first and third games are better than the second one, but I have a lot of nostalgia for this one in particular. Hands down, the best racing experience I ever had on PlayStation was Need For Speed: Underground 2. Graphics might've improved since then, and the gameplay might be smoother, but nothing will top the range of game modes, customization and that absolutely banging soundtrack Undergound 2 had! Encrusted by Frost is very powerful. Pairs amazingly well with Lighting.
