Wheel Bearing: How Do I Know if I Need a Replacement? - how do wheel bearings work
The continuous running cycle operates the spindle at nominal or max nominal speed for approximately 30 minutes. Don’t apply any external loads to the spindle during this time.

JACK LUBER™ is a cost-efficient and powerful unit, pushing lubricant up to 200psi. It operates under extreme temperatures (-20°C – +60°C).
For grease lubricated bearings, the break-in procedure is as important for the grease placement as it is for the bearing races.
Consider the length of oil feed tubes to avoid insufficient lubrication. The entire delivery system will need to have oil passing through it to ensure there is a small amount of lubrication in the bearing before any rotation occurs.

TITAN OILER is an extremely powerful unit, pushing over 2000psi. With extremely high pressure, this unit can feed 12 points with long feed lines.
The A.T.S. Sponge Pinion Grease Applicator is engineered to solve the challenging lubrication needs faced by the wind turbine operators, ensuring the consistent and even lubrication of all components to increase efficiency and longevity of turbines.
Designed to feed one bearing or lubrication point, our single-point lubricators can be fitted either directly onto the bearing or machinery, or mounted remotely.
Our GMN Gap Seals are plastic and a great choice for washdown applications, such as food conveyors and food manufacturing facilities
This heavy-duty clutch (aka a hold-back clutch) is good for high torque operations and ensures motion freezes in place. Bore (ID) sizes: 15 to 40 mm. (0.59 to 1.73 in)
A.T.S. Electro-Lube created the original ELECTRO-LUBER™ and is globally recognized for continued dedication to quality and durability in all industries.

No built-in ball bearing support. Has no RPM limits & Supports high torque needs: 609 to 14,060 Nm. Bore (ID) sizes: 38.09 to 220 mm (1.499 to 8.66 in)
Auto lube systems for heavy equipment
I. At any time during the run in, the procedure should be stopped if the spindle rises above ~60°C [140°F]. Make sure to take the location of the temperature sensor into account. A temperature sensor on the housing of the spindle will read much cooler than what the bearings are actually running. Please consult product documentation for temperature limits or contact our onsite mechanical engineers for technical support.
Includes built-in ball bearing support. Supports HEAVY loads & has a high torque capacity: 53 to 588 Nm. Bore (ID) sizes: 10 to 60 mm (0.393 to 2.362 in)
Gracoautomatic lubricationsystems
When performing a proper break-in procedure, slowly increase the RPM to ensure there is no excessive heat present. The spindle temperature should homogenize before increasing the RPM.
Designed with grooves in the outer ring to offer more protection (than our L-type seal) against contamination and direct spray liquids. Liquid gets pushed out through outer grooves when in rotation.
Avoiding ‘grease fling’ by properly placing grease is one benefit from the break-in procedure. But you will also achieve a longer lifespan of the precision bearing as well.

Lincolnautomatic lubrication system
A.T.S. Electro-Lube is known for developing the world’s first self-contained lubrication device in 1982—the original ELECTRO-LUBER™. This advancement led the way for safer installations and greatly reduced maintenance and repairs. We have continuously reworked the product to work efficiently in all atmospheres and all industries.
Auto greasesystemexcavator
In the decades since it’s conception, A.T.S. has continued to lead the way in creating innovative, efficient, and safe automatic lubricating systems equipment for all industrial applications. Today, A.T.S. is #1 in safety, pressures, reliability, temperature, and durability.
II. The procedure should be stopped if excessive noise or vibration occurs at any time. This characteristic is relative per a specific application, but is a direct value for bearing performance. If one’s specific parameters are unclear, please contact our onsite mechanical engineers for technical support.
No built-in ball bearing support. Good for large orders & low to high torque needs: 1 to 2673 Nm. Bore (ID) sizes: 2 to 240 mm (0.078 to 9.448 in)
Our customers rely on A.T.S. as the market leader for quality, reliability, lubrication pressures, and versatility. Whether it’s grease or oil; high-altitude or underwater; single-point or multi-point; food-safe or deep in a mine —
Get better coverage with less grease for wind turbine maintenance with the A.T.S. Sponge Pinion Grease Applicator. The Sponge Pinion is engineered to solve the challenging lubrication needs faced by the wind turbine operators.
ELECTRO-LUBER™ is the most widely-used single point unit with extensive safety ratings. This unit can be used underwater, in mines, and other hazardous areas.
A family-run company based in Canada, we provide top-of-the-line, automatic lubrication systems and equipment, including single-point, multi-point, and refillable units that come in varying sizes and capabilities.
The original ELECTRO-LUBER™, invented in 1982, was the world’s first intrinsically safe, self-contained lubrication device. The unit uses inert nitrogen gas to power a system that is intrinsically safe for hazardous and explosive environments.
Proper greasing will place the grease between the balls and the raceway(s). Because of this initial grease placement, excessive friction and resistance will cause a mild temperature increase during the break-in procedure, don’t be alarmed by this.
A.T.S. Electro-Lube is committed to satisfying customer needs by providing first-class automatic lubrication systems with leading edge technology. We a proud ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer, proving that we have top quality standards. Our products are MSHA, UL and IECE/ATEX approved.
Automatic lubrication systemmanufacturers
Our patented multi-point lubrication systems are motor-driven and produce unrivalled psi to feed up to 12 lubrication points from a single unit. Economical and powerful.
ULTIMATE-LUBER™ is a powerful lubricator, pushing over 1000psi and servicing up to 12 lube points. With high pressure, this unit can run a 10m feed line.
Includes built-in ball bearing support. Supports MEDIUM loads & low to medium torque capacity: 53 to 267 Nm. Bore (ID) sizes: 17 to 40 mm (0.669 to 1.57 in)
Our products are manufactured in-house. From the raw plastic pellet to the filling and shipping, we create and distribute our units, allowing us to maintain complete control over quality.
The best protection for your bearing. Easy to install with a simple “drop-in” next to your bearing. No added space needed. CF seals offer 100% sealing efficiency against splashing liquids.
III. The viscosity and volume of grease fill will have an effect on the break-in procedure – i.e. time at each step. Ensure that spindle temperatures homogenize before moving to higher RPM’s. This will be directly related to max temperatures during the break-in.
We know that not every application requires super, high-precision bearings. We stock other industrial parts from quality brands.
