This one inch ball is unfinished, solid brass. The natural appearance is pleasing. Over time it will age and darken. For those looking for a long-lasting, bright and shiny finish, we recommend polish and lacquering it.

Although I have not yet installed these brass balls as feet on a clock I am building, the quality appears to be quite good. It was nice to find a source and shipping was quick.
