Inner Axle Seal, 2.5" That's right, BA, you fill in the blanks! These are great for full float rear ends or front ends (semi float requires oil to cool the outer bearings, pack your full float hubs and bearings with grease as you would with the front end). Inner axle seals hold the gear oil in the center section to keep your gears and bearings cool. We have two choices, the original being for our Ford 9" center sections running 35 Spline D60 shafts. We now have them for our Toyota housings (1.31" shafts). First off these are much closer to the actual tube ID, they go in fine but there is no slop, sloppy seals leak! These have 3 - O rings and should be installed with grease to ease them in. The replaceable portion have a double lip so they act like double seals themselves and there are 2 per side so essentially 4 seals per side. These are flexible seals that fit tightly around the axle shaft. The 35 spline seals have an ID of about 1.3" but once packed with grease will stretch to snuggly fit on a 1.570" OD diameter seal surface. The toyota seals have an ID of about .9" and stretch to fit the 1.31" diameter shafts. These so far are only available for 2.5" inner axle tube diameters. Sold Individually.
