Bearings 101: Types, Failures, & Strategic Selection - a bearing
2013 dodge dart wheel bearingreplacement
I have a 2013 Dart Limited and at least one bearing is bad. I’ve called around to get estimates and I’m being told almost $500 per wheel and that includes labor. They told me the part itself is almost $300. He gave me the part number and it’s for a Mopar bearing. I didn’t think all Limited Darts were Mopars. I could definitely be wrong. Does this price sound right? I have a feeling because I’m a woman and don’t know a lot about cars they’re quoting me much higher. I googled the part number and the highest price I found was $182 not almost $300 like 2 garages told me. I could really use some advice. I just bought this from a dealership in June. They didn’t have any kind of warranty and I paid way too much because it had only 55k miles.
